Is this sheltered place the wicked world where things unspoken of can be?
2007

acrylic on board with screw and hand painted pine mount within internally painted box frame
In 2007 I was invited by Glyndebourne Opera to create artwork based on their production of Britten's The Turn of the Screw. The web installation left uses a twenty-five-image slide sequence to tell the story of Britten's opera through my own (scribbled in the dark!) production sketches, and begins with a painting produced from them.
